Pick Pic Korean photo booth opened their first venue in the Summer of 2023. It’s a two storey venue, located in Shoreditch and it has coin karaoke rooms, a number of different colour-themed photo booths with tons of free-to-use accessories to enhance the fun.
Pick Pic was the first Korean photo booth to introduce a special high angle photo room which allows customers to be really creative.
This concept has been elevated in their second shop that just opened next to Leicester Square station.
Viral Elevator Photo Booth

You’ve probably seen those viral elevator photos and short clips on social media and wondered how they did that.
Photo: Urban Adventurer
Well, that elevator booth is actually at Pick Pic’s newest venue in Leicester Square. The new shop is hidden in the basement of SENSPACE. Simply walk in and look for the stairs leading downstairs and there you have it.
It’s a very small, yet super cute venue.
Photo: Urban Adventurer
They have the elevator photo booth and another one a bit further down. That’s a blue themed room and there’s a remote control available to manage your time limit for your next pose.
They also have a blue plush corner with a convex mirror to play around and take creative shots.
K-Pop Merch and Unique Handmade Accessories
Photo: Urban Adventurer
Pick Pic is not just a photo booth, though. They sell K-pop merch, photo cards and the cutest handmade accessories.
Think of crocheted hats with cat ears, crocheted flowers, phone cases, jewellery, card holders, charms, tumbler covers and so much more!
Photo: Urban Adventurer
They’re all unique, made with love just for this shop.
And this is not all!
If you take a photo at one of the photo booths, you’ll get 10% off all the K-pop and handmade merch.
Make sure you give them a visit next time you’re around Leicester Square.
If you’re visiting Pick Pic’s Shoreditch branch, why not take a look at their special packages, birthday kits and karaoke specials before your go.

On the 25th March 2025, Queer Britain proudly announced on their Instagram channel that legendary musician and philanthropist, Elton John and his husband, film producer and Chair of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, David Furnish, have become patrons of the museum.
Elton John and David Furbish said: “A lot of the UK’s LGBTQ+ history is unseen and unheard or has been purposefully hidden away. It’s wonderful to now have a UK museum dedicated to preserving and reclaiming LGBTQ+ history while inspiring future generations. It’s a museum for everyone—to learn, understand, and embrace what it means to be LGBTQ+ today. We are both delighted to support Queer Britain as Patrons.”

Running and Upcoming Exhibitions at Queer Britain

Queer Britain announced their special exhibitions for 2025.
There will be multiple special exhibitions throughout the year, starting with Jimmy Somerville and Bronski Beat from 12th March to 25th May 2025.
Photo: Urban Adventurer
This exhibition showcases new donated objects by Jimmy Somerville in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Bronski Beat’s seminal album: ‘Age of Consent’.
Photo: Urban Adventurer
Jimmy Somerville kindly donated ACT-UP campaign T-shirts, a customised Levi’s jacket with typed lyrics on the back and promotional posters for their hit, ‘Smalltown Boy’ to the museum. The song was included in Rolling Stone magazine last year as one of the top fifty protest songs of all time.
Photo: Urban Adventurer
Visitors also have the opportunity to view a powerful reimaged video for Bronski Beat’s seminal LGBTQ+ anthem: ‘Why?’ (2024) directed by Matt Lambert.
Jimmy Somerville, musician and activist, said: “This isn’t about me. It’s about a time and place and the politics and life as a gay man. Time passed and so did laws and attitudes. Fast forward and here we are today a time full of hate, discrimination and the rolling back of laws and attitudes, in some places I never dreamed it could happen. So today, like back in the day, take nothing for granted and be visible and be loud …. WE’RE HERE, WE’RE QUEER…GET OVER IT!!!”
Other exhibitions and events at Queer Britain
20 Years of Black Pride (4th June – 31st Aug)
Image in courtesy of Queer Britain
In partnership with UK Black Pride and their founder, Phyll Opoku-Gyimah (Lady Phyll), Queer Britain will explore the evolution of Black Pride from a small gathering of people with African, Asian, Caribbean, Latin American and Middle Eastern descent to the world’s largest LGBTQI+ movement.
Terry Higgins Memorial Quilt (11th – 16th June)
Image in courtesy of Queer Britain
Terry Higgins was the first named person to die of AIDS in the UK. The Terrence Higgins Trustwas founded in his memory in 1982.
Since then, the trust has played a pivotal role in HIV and sexual health campaigning. Through their work the Terrence Higgins Trust continue to support those affected and raise awareness of sexual health issues.
The Terry Higgins Memorial Quilt features eight different panels, each representing different elements of Terry’s life, based on stories and tributes from those who knew and loved Terry. Sewn together, each individual panel forms a giant trust’s heart emblem.
The quilt will be on display at The Fitzrovia Chapel from 8th – 17th May before moving to Queer Britain in June. The entry is free, no ticket required.
Richard Angell OBE, Chief Executive of Terrence Higgins Trust, said: “For many years at Terrence Higgins Trust we worked in the name of Terry but without fully telling his story. This quilt is a literal rich tapestry of his life. It speaks to the experiences of so many queer people, from growing up in a small town, to finding his identity through friendship, community, work and music. I hope those who visit will see something of themselves in Terry’s story, and understand the ways so many of us have benefited from his legacy. When Terry died there wasn’t even a test for HIV, let alone any treatment. Now we have the opportunity to end the epidemic in the UK by 2030. We owe it to Terry and everyone we lost to turn that goal into reality.”
TOP by Claye Bowler (10th Sep – 23rd Nov)
Image in courtesy of Queer Britain
Following its debut at the Henry Moore Institute, Leeds in 2022, Queer Britain is proud to bring this deeply personal exhibition to its visitors this Autumn.
The exhibition follows Claye Bowler on their seven years journey through the UK’s healthcare system to obtain a top surgery (an operation to remove chest or breast tissue).
Drawings, films, photographs, letters and sculptures will be on display to document Claye’s journey from their first visit to the GP to the recovery after the surgery.
The exhibition is made possible thanks to the Weston Loan Programme with Art Fund and is supported by The Wellcome Collection and the Arts Council Collection.
Claye Bowler, artist, said: “When creating Top, I initially thought it was about dysphoria, but through sharing it and engaging with visitors during its first showing, I realised it’s actually a celebration of being trans and overcoming struggle. I’m excited to share the work again with Queer Britain visitors, allowing people to experience this joy again. The work also comments on queerness in a museum context, of the purpose of museums, and of collecting objects. As the first museum dedicated to LGBTQ+ stories, Queer Britain offers the perfect context for this work to resonate and question these ideas.”
Queer Britain’s newly appointed Museum Director, Andrew Given (formerly of English National Opera) says, Queer Britain is entering an exciting new chapter.
“Walking through our galleries never fails to inspire, as I see the record of activism and change that our community has achieved. But there are so many stories yet to be told. That’s why we are delighted to announce this exciting programme of exhibitions —ensuring that Queer Britain continues to be a vital space for all LGBTQ+ stories.” – Andrew Given explains.

Little Korea is the restaurant that has catered the biggest K-pop bands and idols during their stay in London.
In just two years, they catered over 20 K-pop bands and idols, including BlackPink, Ateez, Twice, GOD7, NCT, Red Velvet, and IVE. The restaurant also catered Stray Kids this Summer during their time in London for the BST Hye Park Festival.
Photo: Urban Adventurer
Many of the idols and Korean movie stars have given their signatures to the restaurant as a thank you gesture and now the walls are covered with the autographs from the members of Ateez, IVE and other famous idols and actors.
I recently visited Little Korea and was lucky enough to speak to the head chef who let me “peek behind the curtains”.
Photo: Urban Adventurer
How did it all start? Was it Little Korea who reached out the K-pop bands or did the bands find you?
Little Korea has been operating since 2009, but we started catering for K-pop bands only two years ago.
It was them who found us on the internet and reached us out. One of the big Korean entertainment companies sent us an email asking whether we would be able to provide catering services. We were absolutely blown away and saw this as a wonderful opportunity for our restaurant.
This first email gave us the idea that we could began providing special catering services for K-pop groups and idols while they are in London for concerts.
How many K-pop bands have you worked with so far?
We’ve provided catering service for over 20 K-pop bands over the last two years. This includes world-famous and lesser known artists.
Are the foods you serve to K-pop bands specifically made to them or are the dishes on the menu, so fans can order the same food as idols have had?
Most of the dishes are on the menu. All of our dishes are customisable, so customers and K-pop bands can customise their food to fit their individual needs. If they want something that is not on the menu, we are happy to prepare it for them.
Signatures from Ateez and IVE
Photo: Urban Adventurer
Are there any dishes that particularly popular among K-pop bands?
Yes. Many of the idols like fish cake and Tteokbokki which is a spicy Korean rice cake. Beef Bulgogi is also very popular.
Are those dishes on the menu?
Yes. Customers can find them on the menu.
I see all of these signatures displayed on the walls. Have K-pop idols visited Little Korea personally?
Yes. A few idols have visited Little Korea, but we cannot mention their names for security reasons. We got the signatures from them when we were catering them during their stay in London.
Have you had a chance to meet some of the K-pop idols personally?
Not me, but some of my colleagues did have a chance to meet some of the idols.
How were they? Were they nice?
Yes. They were very nice and friendly.
I’m not sure, whether you can answer this question but what did Stary Kids order?
This is confidential information. I can’t answer this question, sorry. 🙂
Did you receive any feedback on your food
We receive a lot of feedback from both our customers and K-pop groups. We have many customers from all over Europe. Whenever they’re in London, Little Korea is a go-to restaurant for them.
As for K-pop groups, they particularly love Tteokbokki and Kimchi Soup. Members of BlackPink really loved our Tteokbokki.
Do you cater the members of K-pop groups specifically or the whole crew who are with them?
It depends. We usually cater the whole crew but sometimes there are some dishes that are specifically ordered for the artists.
Do you make the food here in the restaurant and then deliver it or do you prepare everything on the spot?
We usually prepare the food within the restaurant and then deliver it, however, on some occasions we make some food on the spot. It also depends on what they order because there are some Korean food that need to be freshly made and consumed immediately.
Is there any K-pop band or idol you are the most proud of to have had a chance to worked with?
Yes. BlackPink. 🙂
Is Little Korea the only one restaurant doing catering service specifically for K-pop bands in London?
As far as I know, we are the only one at the moment.
The Menu

From sizzling Korean BBQ to Korean pancake to classic Bibim Bap, Little Korea’s meticulously crafted menu offers a harmonious blend of traditional and innovative Korean food.

What we ordered:
Tofu/Mushroom Iron Plate
Our original order was a Tofu Iron Plate, but we asked the chef if we could have it with half tofu and half mushroom and they were happy to prepare it for us.
The dish was served on a hot iron plate and contained stir-fried tofu and mushroom on a mixed vegetable bed with some spicy sauce.
The mushroom was juicy and perfectly seasoned. The tofu pieces were soft and fluffy, coated in crispy crunchy seasoning.
Korean Fried Chicken Drumsticks
Big chicken drumsticks, crispy in the outside, soft and juicy in the inside fried to perfection. We had two normal drumsticks and two with sweet and tangy sticky glaze. Finger-licking good!
O | Kimchi
This is basically spicy pickled cucumber. It’s a Korean side dish. It was crunchy and delicious. It wasn’t too spicy and went really well with the other food we ordered.
Kimchi
Korean food is not the same without Kimchi. So, of course, we had to order a portion. Yum!
The menu features authentic Korean dishes, inspired by your favourite K-drama. From traditional food to innovative dishes, Little Korea is here to satisfy the most different needs.
Little Korea is a must-visit spot for K-pop fans! Sit at the same table your favourite idol sat, pose with the signatures of the Ateez and eat the same food like BlackPink ordered.

Notice the Easter Eggs
Photo: Urban Adventurer
The costumes and other items are displayed all over the museum, however, they’re placements are not randomly picked. Each position has been meticulously chosen to enhance the meaning of the objects.
Photo: Urban Adventurer
For example, costumes form the video clip ‘The Man’ are cleverly displayed between the statues of Venus and Diana (the symbols of feminine power), while behind the display there are the Valhalla Mosaics from the 19th century which is a celebration of male artistry and craftsmanship.
Photo: Urban Adventurer
The ‘Red’ chapter is showcasing Swift’s iconic red dress from ‘I Bet You Think About Me’ video from 2021, designed by Japanese designer Tadashi Shoji. The display features a grand state bed from the 18th century.
The bed’s crimson drapes resemble the material of Taylor’s garments, and the bed is decorated with Autumn leaves bringing to your mind the line: “Autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place” from ‘All Too Well’.
Photo: Urban Adventurer
Another installation is showcasing a moss-covered piano along with the cardigan Taylor wore in her music video ’Cardigan’. The installation is surrounded by tranquil landscape paintings referring to the landscapes in the video clip and the early period of the pandemic in 2020 when the song was released.
Photo: Urban Adventurer
There are plenty of Easter eggs like these for visitors to discover allowing to experience the exhibition from a whole new perspective. Make sure you take time at each object displayed because the more time you spend with it, the more you notice.
An illuminating neon strip is winding around each display, acting as a string connecting all the pieces together despite of their different locations all over the museum.
Arrive at the Cromwell Road entrance and go to the welcome desk for a guide.
The trail starts at the welcome desk and even if you don’t have the guide, it’s easy to follow the signs. Friendly members of staff are at hand literally every corner to help you if you need any assistance.

Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY is one of Somerset House’s original residents whose studio is still based within the iconic building literally only two floors below the exhibition space.
The exhibition has three different sections in three exhibition rooms: Initiation, Ritual and Manifestation. Each room showcases different stages of the creative process.
Photo: Urban Adventurer
The first room, called ‘Initiation’, lifts the curtain for visitors to see what makes the label today. Garments, hand-written scribbles, personal photographs and unique items tell intimate stories of the artist and the brand.
Here visitors learn how Jeffrey’s MA collection grabbed the attention of fashion insiders, such as Lulu Kennedy, who later offered support Jeffrey’s first post-study catwalk shows.
Photo: Urban Adventurer
In the centre of the second room, named ‘Ritual’, stands a huge pattern cutting table with fabric swatches, sketches, mood boards and more. The table looks exactly the one Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY is using right now.
This room showcases how LOVERBOY continues challenging fashion norms and gender stereotypes.
This room’s dominant theme is how the design process is understood as a form of ritual. Similarly to rituals Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY design process is made up for steps to follow. This means there is a sequence of specific actions and behaviours to follow from research, to cutting to construction and presentation.

The final room, ‘Manifestation’, celebrates LOVERBOY’s most iconic and extravagant pieces, including a silver jumpsuit, famously worn by Harry Styles in 2018 and a dress worn by actress Tilda Swinton on the red carpet for The British Fashion Awards in 2022.
Jeffrey also worked with famous K-pop stars, including Mino.
Visitors can also take a rare look at one-off runaway pieces, such as Wedgwood armour worn by Jeffrey himself when fronting his music project NEKO.
LOVERBOY has transcended the boundaries across art, fashion and music and challenged gender stereotypes while leaving a mark in contemporary art and culture.
‘The Lore of LOVERBOY’ is a joyous and surprising tour through fashion label and how it was built from scratch.
