‘It begins with Yun’ is a cute pop-up just minutes away from Goodge Street station bringing together the best independent Chinese brands.
The pop-up’s aim is to create a space where visitors can not just shop and relax, but also discover creative, playful accessories, jewellery, homeware, and fashion, they cannot find nowhere else.
Special Drinks Menu Inspired by Yunnan Flavours

A special drinks menu has been created exclusively for this pop-up.
The menu is inspired by Yunnan flavours. Each is a refreshing summer drink with playful combinations of flavours and textures and seriously Insta-worth presentations.
Avocado Milky Rice Drink｜绿野云米
Creamy avocado blended with soft milky rice notes, finished with fresh topping details. Smooth, green and comforting.
Butter Brown Sugar Pu’er｜暖山普洱
A rich but not-too-sweet pu’er tea drink with buttery warmth and brown sugar depth. Bold, mellow and addictive.
Jasmine Milk Cola｜茉莉牛奶可乐
A playful mix of jasmine tea, milk and cola — floral, creamy, fizzy and refreshing.
Panda Paoluda｜小熊猫泡鲁达
Our signature pop-up special. Inspired by Yunnan paoluda, served with coconut, chewy textures and a little panda friend on top.

We tried their signature – an undoubtedly most popular – Panda Paoluda drink which is available either on its own or with a cute, scented panda plushie by Rua Rua Panda.
What is paoluda?
Paoluda is a popular cold dessert from Southeast Asia. It’s soft and creamy combining fun textures, including crispy bread cubes, mini boba pearls, shredded coconut and jelly.

Rua Rua Panda is creating a curated selection of panda-inspired items, including plushies, bags, keyrings, magnets and more. Some designs are focusing on being as realistic as possible, others are more into character.
When you order a Panda Paoluda drink, make sure you order it as a combo with the plushie. The drink on its own is £6.50. The drink + panda plushie combo is £17.50.
YUN London
YUN London is a Chinese café and restaurant, founded by a second-generation chef.
Located on Brick Lane, YUN London offers delicious Yunnan-inspired food and drink menu.
Herbal Bracelets by SOEY

SOEY is specialised in traditional Chinese fashion and wearable herbal jewellery inspired by the wisdom of Chinese medicine. Their collection is made from natural herbal materials, light and comfortable to wear in the summer.
While at the pop-up, feel free to lift the glass domes and enjoy the different, calming scents of the jewellery.

Pulu Tea
Pulu Tea is selling tea blends and teaware sourced from Yunnan.
Ancient trees grow in the deep within the mountain forests of Yunnan. That’s where Pulu teas are harvested from.
Yunnan is a Chinese province in the Southeastern region of the country. It’s famous for its rich ancient history and culture, balmy climate and premium category teas.

ChenChen Studio is a London-based independent fashion brand, known for its creative pattern cutting and elegance.
