Section ‘Sky’ showcases how artists took inspiration from the Sun, the Moon, and the stars.
The second section, ‘Sea’ tells epic stories above and below the waves, while the third section, ‘Forest’ is about shapeshifting mythical creatures that inspired today’s superheroes.
The fourth section, ‘City’ introduces kawaii (cuteness) culture and showcases how it shaped and inspired today’s anime and manga characters, and gaming culture.
