Bandai Namco Cross Store Camden Opened a PAC-MAN Pop-Up to Celebrate Their 1st Anniversary
Bandai Namco Cross Store Camden opened on 18th August 2023, and to celebrate their 1st anniversary they have launched a PAC-MAN pop-up.
Plus, a new Tamagotchi Official Shop will also open within the store on 30th August to bring back the 1990s toy craze!

PAC-MAN Pop-Up at Bandai Namco Cross Store Camden

One of the most iconic video game characters, PAC-MAN launched a fun pop-up within Bandai Namco Cross Store Camden.
To celebrate the 1st anniversary of Bandai Namco’s grand opening in London, they commemorate the milestone with a PAC-MAN Select pop-up which opened on 23rd August and free to enjoy.
The ‘World’s largest PAC-MAN Machine’

Upon entering the store, you will be greeted by the ‘World’s largest PAC-MAN Machine’.
If you’re on a solo date, choose the single player option, or play with your bestie by choosing the 2 player option.
Once you’ve played you heart off, find the PAC-MAN Gashapon machine and collect the three cute PAC-MAN capsule toys.

Now, head upstairs where more fun is waiting for you.
Upstairs, there is a free-to-play PAC-MAN Pixel Bash Machine that can be played by two players simultaneously.

Next to the machine, there is a huge PAC-MAN installation and shelves loaded with exclusive PAC-MAN merchandise.

There are mainly plushies, keychains, stein glasses and mugs available to purchase.

- PAC-MAN is an arcade video game, released by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. (previously Namco) in 1980
- The game was officially introduced in the US in October 1980 and its popularity skyrocketed

Tamagotchi Official Shop to Open on 30th August
The soon to open Tamagotchi Official Shop within Bandai Namco Cross Store Camden will be the first of its kind in the UK.
The shop will offer a wide range of Tamagotchi, including Tamagotchi Connection, Tamagotchi Uni and Tamagotchi Nano to cater the needs of fans who want to feel the nostalgia of the 1990s and the new generation of fans alike.

- Tamagotchi was originally released on 23rd November 1996 and instantly became popular among the youth
- Tamagotchi made a big return in 2004 with Tamagotchi Connection which had a built-in infrared communication feature
- In July 2023, Tamagotchi Uni was launched which was the first model with built-in Wi-Fi. This allows its users to meet other Tamagotchi characters from around the globe via Tamagotchi’s own metaverse, called ‘Tamaverse’

Ready for your next adventure? Oscar-winning stop-motion animation studio, LAIKA, opened a free exhibition at BFI Southbank. LAIKA: Frame x Frame is showcasing original props, puppets and costumes from much-loved films, such as ‘Coraline’, ‘ParaNorman’ and ‘Kubo and the Two Strings’.
