LUMINISCENCE is a breath-taking 360o video projection experience that brings Westminster Cathedral to life with colourful projections, live choir and orchestra to tell the story of the cathedral and the evolution of London from the beginning to today.
Using advanced 3D modelling projection technology, LUMINISCENCE promises an incredible musical and visual adventure that guaranteed to blow you away.
What to Expect from LUMINISCENCE in London?

24 laser projectors will colour the vast columns and arches of Westminster Cathedral to tell the history of the cathedral and the capital of the UK.
The cathedral’s interior has never been finished due to lack of funding and most of the columns and the arches left bare.

This experience shows how this majestic neo-Byzantine landmark would look if it was fully covered with colourful mosaics. The 360o projected light show will be bathing all the windows, columns, pillars and the arched ceiling in shimmering light to highlight the cathedral’s ethereal beauty.
If you wish to contribute to the grand works of covering the inside of the cathedral with mosaics, you can do so by donating any smaller or bigger amount at the donation points within the cathedral.

The experience will follow a specially commissioned script by BAFTA and Oliver Award winner Tim Whitnall, while legendary London-born actor Hugh Bonneville will provide a pre-recorded narration.
The greatest classical music will be brought to life by Lux Aeterna choir’s otherworldly live performance.

There are two types of performances to choose from when purchasing tickets.
Starting from the 1st July you can enjoy the live performance of the phenomenal Lux Aeterna choir.
From the 5th September, a 14-piece orchestra will be joining to Lux Aeterna choir to help you immerse into the LUMINISCENCE experience even more.
