You’ve watched the documentaries, read the history books and followed the heart-wrenching story of Jack and Rose in the 1997 film by James Cameron.

Now this is your chance to experience the faithful journey of the ‘unsinkable’ monstrous ship like never before!

This extraordinary VR experience has come to life as a result of a two year research into the RMS Titanic, its passengers and the series of events leading to its sinking on 14th April 1912.

The team wanted to build an experience educational and entertaining at the same time while paying respect to the passengers and crew.

With the help of Cité de la Mer in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin and the American archives of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the team behind the experience has built an extraordinary project which meticulously recreates the legendary ship and how it looks like today as it’s lying in its 3,800-metre deep watery grave.

During your experience you will walk on the deck, admire the sunset and experience how it would have felt to hit the iceberg before finding yourself standing at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean exploring the remains of the giant.

You will see how the grand staircase looks like now under the see and witness the shipwreck miraculously transforms back into its glory: you’ll suddenly find yourself in the middle of a party with live music and dancing couples.

You will also descend to the engine room, the monstrous heart that kept the ship in move.

Upon your journey, two virtual guides will help you navigate: Alex and Dive. The journey has interactive elements too. Feel free to touch anything you encounter with because some of them will move, swirl or light up.

The most poignant part of the experience is definitely the end of it when you see the ship departure from Southampton with its passengers waving and smiling, not knowing that most of them would never make it to New York City.
