Visitors can get a comprehensive overview of Warhol’s artworks and career from his earliest works from the 1950s, through his most famous ‘Marilyn Monroe’, ‘Queen Elizabeth II’, Muhammad Ali’ and ‘Endangered Species’ prints to one of his last paintings produced in 1987.
The exhibition is spread across Halcyon Gallery’s two venues: 29 & 148 New Bond Street.

The smaller exhibition at 29 New Bond Street is dedicated to Warhol’s iconic Campbell’s Soup Cans series and Campbell’s Soup Box. The latter is a vibrant three-dimensional canvas that was commissioned by Campbell’s to commemorate their new product launch in 1986.

The immersive room in 148 New Bond Street features famous street artist Keith Haring’s ‘Andy Mouse’ portfolio. These artworks portray Andy Warhol as Mickey Mouse while swimming in dollar bills and dancing.
Andy Warhol’s ‘Ads’ Series

Warhol explored an intersection between art and commercial in an era when the two were clearly separated.
This intersection is expressed in Warhol’s ‘Ads’ series that reimagined famous adverts from the most famous brands, such as Apple, Channel or Volkswagen by transforming them into powerful artworks using vibrant colours.

The ‘Ads’ series was created both as a portfolio of prints and as a set of 10 paintings on canvas. Both the silkscreen prints, and the paintings are displayed together in the UK for the very first time.

Rado was pioneering in high-tech ceramics and was known for its innovative use of materials.
The artwork on display at Halcyon Gallery is different from that was first unveiled in New York in 1987. – explains Roberta Naas in Forbes magazine’s article. Warhol painted three canvas artworks for the 70th anniversary of Rado.
In 2023 Rado announced the relaunch of The Anatom watch.
