Following the stellar success in Amsterdam and Barcelona, Moco Museum arrived in London in the summer of 2024. The three storey building gives home to over 100 large-scale artworks from the most celebrated contemporary artists, including Yayoi Kusama, Banksy and Andy Warhol.

There are not many freshly opened museums in the world that instantly hit overwhelming popularity and 5-star reviews.
Moco Museum did just that when – after reaching a captivating 6 million visitors in Amsterdam and Barcelona – opened its gates to the public in London last year.

“In Art We Trust” written in pink letters on the façade of the museum is the first thing visitors see when emerging from Marble Arch station.
The impressive three-story building hides a fascinating collection of artworks from world renowned artists, including Varhol, Kusama, KAWS and Murakami, alongside with emerging artists who are on the right path to gain world fame soon.
New pieces are constantly added to the museum’s collection and temporary exhibitions hosted every now and then from such names like Robbie Williams to keep visitors coming back.
Three Floors, Three Different Themes

Visitors start their journey at street level.
Here you’ll find large scale artworks from Andy Warhol, a sparkly pumpkin, called ‘Shanghai Pumpkin’ by Yayoi Kusama, and an impressive white Porsche, called ‘Blue Calcite Eroded Porsche 911’ made of fibreglass, steel and minerals by Daniel Arsham.

In the middle of the room, lay a shiny pink Easter egg with bow, called ‘Smooth Egg with Bow’ by Jeff Koons. The egg’s mirror-like surface is perfect to play with reflection if you arrive with camera and love photography.

TIP: There’s a hidden original Picasso painting somewhere in the room. Can you find it?
The basement level gives a whole new experience.

Here the atmosphere takes on a futuristic vibe. You’ll feel like you were in a sci-fi film set.
There are many immersive installations here you can actively be part of and challenge your perceptions, such as the ‘Great Rhombicosidodecahedron’ by Anthony James or ‘Pulse’ by Daan van Hasselt.

‘Pulse’ is an infinity room with colour-changing and pulsing parallel lights, designed to create a bridge between tangible and intangible, the known and the unknown.

Daniel Arsham’s ‘Lunar Garden’ is an otherworldly installation of the full Moon and cherry blossom floating in soft pink hues, inviting visitors to capture their silhouette (it reminded me of Sailor Moon).

The first floor is an eclectic mix of artworks playfully scattered around the room.

Here you’ll find a gigantic sculpture made by KAWS, along with his other iconic artworks.

There is an entire section dedicated to Banksy. Marvell at some his most iconic artworks, including the ‘Balloon Girl’ and the ‘Flower Thrower’.

There’s a golden Mickey Mouse sculpture and a vast artwork by Takashi Murakami.
Takashi Murakami is famous for creating his own movement, called ‘Superflat’.
Murakami’s artworks are easily recognisable by his signature characters: a colourful panda and smiling flowers. He has collaborated with the most famous brands, including Louis Vuitton, that had a very successful pop-up in London this January.
This is the level where Robbie Williams’ temporary exhibition, ‘Robbie Williams: ‘Radical Honesty’ is located.

Robbie Williams was born on 13th February 1974, in Stoke-Trent-Staffordshire under the name of Robert Peter Williams. He became the member of an iconic boy band, Take That in the 1990s.

Robbie departured from the band in 1995 and started his solo career in 1997. His record, ‘Angel’ became an international hit resulting Robbie’s fame skyrocketed, and he soon found himself among the biggest A-listers.
Robbie has experienced lots of ups and downs throughout his career. He was in and out of rehab and deeply submerged into both light and dark periods in his life.

He started his self-reflective journey in the 1990s to face his inner demons. He painted, drew and documented his mental health journey with creativity. His artworks carry humour and cruel honesty and sometimes express vulnerability.
Seeing his artworks and knowing his hectic journey in his career and personal life truly touches our hearts, makes us laugh or draws tears in our eyes.
“My head speaks a language I don’t understand.” – says one of his artworks.
“If my microwave started talking, I would take its advice over my therapist.” – declares another.

Through his solo exhibition, ‘Radical Honesty’, Robbie reveals that it’s ok to sit with our contradictions, anxiety, and laugh at the ridiculousness of it all.

The exhibition takes us through Robbie’s mental health journey with brutal honesty. His artworks are a reminder that we should accept ourselves with all of our flaws, shortcomings, failures, and successes, and embrace both our light and dark sides.
Just be real. Especially when it’s messy.
His temporary exhibition: ‘Robbie Williams: Radical Honesty’ opened in March and can be visited until October 2025.
