‘Heaven’s Gate’ – Free-to-Visit Monumental Digital Artwork at Outernet London
Every Sunday between 22nd January – 26th February from 12pm-6pm, a mind-blowing digital artwork is shown at Outernet London just outside Tottenham Court Road Station. ‘Heaven’s Gate’ is a complex digital artwork by London based artist, Marco Brambilla and it’s an epic journey to the seven stages of Purgatory.

‘Heaven’s Gate’ is a complex digital installation created as a VR experience and totemic video installation. The kaleidoscopic artwork ascends through the seven levels of Purgatory. Each level has its own specific landscape showcasing and looping samples of iconic moments of cinematic history while telling the story of the world in seven chapters from its formation, through the dinosaurs’ era, to the dawn of humanity to the modern world.
About the Artist: Marco Brambilla

Marco Brambilla is a video artist based in London and New York. Brambilla’s artworks have been internationally exhibited and can be find in the collections of Museum of Modern Art, Guggenheim Museum (New York); San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; ARCO Foundation (Madrid); and the Corcoran Gallery of Art (Washington D.C).
His works have been featured at Venice Film Festival and Sundance Film Festivals, just to name a few.
