Sara Shakeel – who earned her nickname as ‘Queen of Crystals’ – is doing a free pop-up exhibition at NOW Gallery for London Design Festival 2023.
The artist was awarded the Young Artist Award Commission for transforming NOW Gallery into a 3D sparkly banqueting scene with crystals in 2019.
Sara has earned global recognition for her beautiful crystal artworks. She has recently collaborated with Mercedes-Benz, The Wallace Museum and BMW, just to name a few. She has also been named as one of Disney’s Create 100. Sara has also been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE Décor and Forbes.

Sara Shakeel’s latest artwork, displayed in NOW Gallery titled, ‘The Great Supper’ is a full-size family dining table with chairs and meals: burgers, chicken, chips, cutlery, and tableware, all covered with individual Swarovski crystals.
‘The Great Supper’ invites visitors to observe simple pleasures in life, such as sparkly and witty conversations over a family supper while reminding us of the ephemerality of these moments.
