Cahoots 1940s themed underground cocktail bar

Located below Ticket Hall.

Control Room a speakeasy-style room with webs and wires, old switchboards and a pirate radio station. Control Room is all about live music, rip-roaring parties and endless flow of cocktails.

Underground

Time travel to the 1940s London

Located just opposite The Ticket Hall. Just follow the signs in Kingsley Court.

An old wooden staircase leads you under the ground and back in time to the world of the 1940s London. The staircase looks like those wooden escalators, once carried people to the platforms.

1940s inspired cocktail bar London

When entering the cocktail bar, you found yourself in a buzzing yet intimate place.

A replica of a 1940s tube carriage, vintage furniture, shady lamps, stylish chandeliers and old adverts welcome you.

Underground bar London

You can be seated either in the train carriage (seats are limited there up to 40) or around huge vintage trunks, used as tables.  There are a few tables as well with giant vintage comfy armchairs.

Winston Churchill, Vera Linn and Jingo the Bulldog

Some of their signature cocktails, such as Winston Churchill, Vera Linn or Jingo the Bulldog are served in funny shaped cocktail glasses.

I tried Winston Churchill and it didn’t disappoint me. The cocktail looked awesome and was a perfect balance of vodka, banana & coconut puree, lime, caramel syrup and sparkling wine.

Stylish Menu

The menu was actually an old newspaper with funny headlines and articles around the cocktails and food. The newspaper was a perfect accessory for my photos to blow my Instagram feed. (haha)

Scoundrels cocktail bar London

Sadly, there was no space to sit in the underground carriage, but I still had a chance of being photographed in front of the bar counter.

The music from the 1940s made my experience complete. The baristas and the waitresses were awesome. They were dressed the 1940s fashion and acted like we were in the 1940s.

Oh, and don’t be surprised when you hear an iron bell tinkling. Every time when a cocktail is ready, the bartenders rang the iron bell.

Enjoy your ride! Mind the gap!
