POP MART Opened Their Flagship Store in London
China’s No.1 ‘blind box’ toy maker, POP MART, has opened their first store in Europe. The grand opening was on 20th January attracting many people to queue in front of the store to be among the first visitors.

POP MART sells ‘blind boxes’ of collectable toy and figurines in the most different themes and characters, including well known characters, such as Harry Potter or Hello Kitty.
At the moment SKULLPANDA, PUCKY, DIMOO, and HIRONO are the most popular series.
An extremely limited edition – 100 pieces (!) – of ‘SKULLPANDA Dark Maid’ was available in the store on the day of the opening for collectors. Upon purchasing over £30 in the store, customers received a token to buy ‘SKULLPANDA Dark Maid’ on a first come first served basis.

Located on 80 Shaftesbury Avenue, POP MART’s first permanent European store is a small, 395 sq ft unit, but they hope this store will influence other European countries to open way to further expansion.

POP MART has become an easily identifiable brand by collaborating a huge number of artists, designers, and even other brands. They have successfully collaborated with world-famous designers, such as Kenny Wong and Pucky as well as top-level global brands, such as Disney, Universal Studios and Sanrio.
Their main target audience is the young (18-35) – at the moment, mostly women.
‘Blind box’ culture has been getting more and more accepted in other countries outside of Asia. Currently their products are being sold in 52 countries and they are also available on the most popular e-commerce platforms, such as Amazon and AliBaba.
Now POP MART has arrived in London and their huge collection of designer toy series are available for fans for up for grabs.
