Astronomy Photographer of the Year is an annual competition among the world’s greatest space photographers.

Photographers across the globe compete every year to take home the prestigious title.

Astronomy Photographer of the Year exhibition at National Maritime Museum showcases over 100 photographs divided into four different sections: Earth and Space, Our Solar System, Deep Space and Young Competition & Special Prizes.

This year, the exhibition is completely free due to the museum carrying along essential improvements to the roof.

As a result, some areas within the museum are closed until the Summer 2025. To compensate the inconvenience this may cause to visitors, during the period of the renovation all special exhibitions are free to visit. All you need to do is to book a free museum ticket.
