The immersive exhibition is called ‘CULTURE’S PANIC ROOM’ and situated in the basement of The London EDITION hotel in Soho.

The artist duo has transformed the basement into a reflective and sensory experience. The exhibition imitates a panic room with digitally rendered CGI characters as tropes surrounding: the heist, the encounter, the intruder and the stranger.

Through the interaction of the CGI characters and other visitors of the exhibition, audience is being encouraged to reconsider their relationships with one another and themselves.

Wondering in the forest of acrylic sculptures, neon lights, CGI characters and plexiglass sculptures, visitors feel like the boundaries between reality and the virtual world are blurred and then and vanished.

Having been inspired by pop culture, cinema, fashion and personal experiences, the mixed-media installation is not just immersive, but thought-provoking too. The exhibition is revolving around questions such as luxury, individuation, access and presence.
