What is 3D Printed Ice Cream?

3D printed ice cream is basically ice cream in endless variations of cool designs made by 3D print technology allowing to create intricate shapes, such as rose, dragon or even city landmarks, company logos or wedding photos.
Maybe Summer is almost over, but it’s always a good time for an ice cream, so if you haven’t had a chance to try it yet, here’s where you can find 3D ice cream in London.
VAI Ice

Developed in China, VAI Ice has its own R&D (Research & Development Centre) and factory in Beijing.
They started selling in London this year. They have lots of different designs and flavours to choose from: skull, flower, dragon, love heart, butterfly and much more.
They use Italian gelato and premium quality ingredients to create rich flavours while using less sugar. Over 40 different flavours and shapes available and they are customisable!

AYCE! – Art You Can Eat

AYCE! aka Art You Can Eat 3D ice cream also launched this year with pop-ups in different locations all over in London. They were selling their famous London landmarks ice cream creation at Summer by the River Festival at the riverbank next to Tower Bridge until the end of August.
Currently they have four different designs to choose from: rose, Big Ben, London landmarks and Moon. Their signature flavours are chocolate, sweet cream, and strawberry; however, they have a menu of over 190(!) different flavours, including rose water and other quirky flavours.
Their ice creams are now available for event orders. If you have large order, you can customise your ice creams, meaning they can even make your face out of ice cream. Just drop them a message on their website.
