The Legend of Korra was premiered on Nickelodeon in 2012 and this concert gives the perfect opportunity for fans to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the series.
The story sets decades after the Avatar: The Last Airbender and Aang’s era. Korra is a rebellions teenager who is the next reincarnation of Aang. They share the same soul and the exact same spiritual connection, but both came from a completely different environment and have different personalities.
“The music of The Legend of Korra explores a very different emotional and musical landscape than Avatar: The Last Airbender, blending orchestral, jazz, and electronic influences to reflect Korra’s more modern world. Hearing that score performed live brings a new level of energy to the music and allows audiences to experience the story in a completely different way.” – says Emmy Award winning composer, Jeremy Zuckerman.
