Nintendo POP-UP STORE in London
Nintendo opened its first-ever UK pop-up store in Westfield Sheperd’s Bush. Perfect timing for those looking for a unique Christmas gift for the Nintendo fan in their lives.

Surprisingly, Nintendo has only five permanent stores around the world, three of them in Japan (Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto), and the other two in the US (New York and San Francisco).

The London pop-up store is located in Westfield Sheperd’s Bush and – despite the store’s relatively small size – an extensive selection of Nintendo merchandise is available, including Nintendo’s most iconic franchises, such as Super Mario, Kirby, The Legend of Zelda and Animal Crossing.
There are tons of plushies, bags and T-shirts available along with keyrings, home essentials, collectable figurines, and much more.

Exclusive T-shirts from the Tokyo and Osaka stores are also available, however, it’s a bit disappointing that there are no T-shirts with prints that say London.
There are only two London related merch in the store: a large red tote bag and a smaller foldable bag with the same design that says, ‘Nintendo POP-UP STORE in London’.

Nintendo POP-UP STORE opened on the 22nd October but the opening week was ticketed and the tickets sold out quickly. From the 26th October, the store is open to the public (no tickets required any more) but expect a long queue. We went on a Monday evening the there was a massive queue.
Is it Worth Visiting the Nintendo POP-UP STORE?

Despite of the long queue and the relatively small store with very narrow aisles, it’s definitely worth visiting the Nintendo POP-UP STORE. Especially, if you’re a fan or if you’re on the hunt for the perfect gift for the Nintendo lover in your life.
There are tons of exclusive products, and you can shop by theme or character.
The prices are not as inflated as we expected. Smaller plushies are around £14 – £20, a Nintendo London pop-up store tote bag is £9.99, a pin badge set containing four different large pin badges is £20.

The queuing system was well-organised when we visited. Security members let people in the store, making sure there were not too many people, so we had a good shopping experience. The staff was friendly, very helpful and enthusiastic.
