Believe it or not, iconic DC superhero, Batman, is marking his 85th anniversary! To celebrate this, a new interactive experience arrived in London with never-seen-before original costumes, props, vehicles and more.

The Bat Signal is now turned on over London as Batman Unmasked exhibition finally arrived at Covent Garden on the 6th September.

 

The exhibition will only stay for a few months, so, if you don’t want to miss it, make sure you book your experience because tickets are selling fast.

The experience has 9 themed rooms to explore.

 

Upon your arrival, you’ll enter Bruce Wayne’s manor library before the bookshelves open to reveal the secret entrance to the legendary Batcave.

 

There are original props, costumes and vehicles on display. All used in the many Batman films from 1989 – 2022.

 

Explore the iconic Batsuits worn by Robert Pattinson, Ben Affleck, and Christian Bale and marvel at the Batpod featured in ‘The Dark Knight’ (2008) and Pattinson’s Batmobile used in ‘The Batman’ film in 2022.

If this is not enough, the very first Batman suit is also on display, worn by Michael Keaton in 1989.

There is a separate room dedicated to villains. Here you will encounter many of the notorious foes Batman has found himself face to face over the decades.

Here you’ll have the opportunity to explore Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Mr. Freeze suite which is displayed for the very first time in the UK.

You’ll also see Heath Ledger’s infamous nurse uniform, Harlequin’s iconic outfit worn by Margot Robbie and Uma Turman’s Poison Ivy costume along with many others.

There is an entire room dedicated to The Joker. If you dare to enter, you will find yourself in an eerie hospital room and if you can beat the urge to run out of the door instantly, you’ll soon witness something spine shivering on the walls.

 

Nostalgia and Batman comics are flowing free in the next room. The interactive space is basically a gaming room where you can play with your favourite Batman console games and dive into Batman comic books.

Here you have the chance to be part of an iconic scene from a Batman film or literally jump in a comic book to chase The Joker.

 

The exhibition ends at the shop where limited-edition 85th anniversary items are available to purchase along with classic mementoes.
