The Knot Churros – South Kensington

Every ice cream at The Knot Churros is a piece of magic. Their signature ice creams are topped with the most colourful and delicious toppings, crunchies, sauces and…here comes the best part: with fluffy colourful cotton candy.

Their Disney themed ice creams like Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo and Mary Poppins are out of this world. Here in the photo there is the Mary Poppins one.

But it’s not just their ice cream you’ll love. Jump into the swing bed under the floral ceiling and pose with flamingos in a fairy tale scene.

Tombo – Fitzrovia

Tombo is an authentic Japanese café selling kawaii character themed dishes and sweets.

They serve the cutest sundaes: My Melody sundae will make your heart melt.

It’s a matcha flavour ice cream with fruity jelly cubes decorated the cutest way possible: My Melody chocolate character figure, rainbow star sprinkles, white marshmallow with My Melody flag, strawberry poky and strawberry waffle.

Almost too cute to eat. ^^ Well…almost.

Taiyakiya – China Town

Taiyakiya is a hidden gem in the heart of China Town. They serve cute themed ice creams as well but in a different way.

You can choose from unicorn, mermaid or dark angel themed ice creams. Choose from normal cone, charcoal black cone or taiyaki (fish shaped sweet pastry) or cup.

I have tried unicorn and dark angel (will definitely go back for a mermaid one. Yumm…)

You can choose more than one flavour. I’d personally recommend lichee rose.

The Unicorn ice cream comes with cute unicorn horn and a pair of ears and flower shaped rainbow sprinkles.

I chose a black cone for my dark angel ice cream. It comes with angel wings, crispy chocolate topping and a colourful chocolate star on top.

Hans and Gretel – Camden Town

Have you ever dreamt about visiting the gingerbread house from Hans and Gretel as a child? Well, our dream has finally come true, and it’s in Camden Market. Right next to the sculpture of Amy Winehouse.

When you step inside, you find yourself in an enchanted world of your childhood.

Charming giant candy trees and a dazzling selection of sweets and ice cream wait for you.

At the back of the shop there is a mystical hole in the wall. As you get closer a tiny room reveals itself with a witch sign at the door and a tiny table, colourful armchairs, and a fireplace. Selfie time!

I tried Smurf flavour ice cream (Mmmm, weird, but tasty.)

You can choose normal cone or Hans and Gretel signature cone with a variety of sprinkles and nuts. And the best thing is, all the toppings are free. You can choose from mini cones in different colours, rainbow sprinkles, gummy candies and much more.

Dyce – Marylebone

Mirrors on the ceiling, transparent bubble chairs, ice cream coloured bubbles and flamingos.  Exciting. Elegant. Insta-worthy.

Welcome to Dyce, a tiny little ice cream shop, 3-minute walk from Oxford Street (from Bond Street station to be precise).

Here’s one of the best things in Dyce: you can not only choose your ice cream to be served in cup or cone. You can choose cookie, brownie, doughnut or baklava as well.

To make your ice cream more Instagrammable, there are some special extras to choose from: golden cone, macaron or chocolate bar.

Plus, endless colourful toppings from popcorn to fruity pebbles.

Here’s mine: mango ice cream (super delicious rich flavour. Yumm…), golden macaron, and marshmallows. All ice creams are served with Dyce logo waffle and a matching colour flower.

Amorino – Charing Cross

Amorino is a synonym of elegant delicate rose shaped ice cream. You can choose from three different sizes but whichever size you choose, you can have as many flavours as you wish. Literally.

The staff shape the rose for you using one flavour per petal. Mesmerising. Here’s the result.

CHIN CHIN

CHIN CHIN Ice Cream is Europe’s first liquid nitrogen ice cream parlour. They make their ice cream in front of your eyes using liquid nitrogen.

I tried mango ice cream on a torched marshmallow bed in a red vanilla flavoured waffle cone. This is the smoothest ice cream I’ve ever tried.
